Here at Mystery Shoppers Ltd (MSL), we are on a mission to improve customer experiences all over the world. We help our clients to understand what they can do to create lots of happy customers by testing their services.

Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client’s locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of good quality before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.

We work in all industries and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!

We are a medium-sized, family-run business and have been going for over 30 years! Our HQ is in Holsworthy, Devon and we also work very closely with our partner office in Bulgaria.

We’re currently looking for someone to join our team as a Call Listener. Where workload allows, the role may also involve some Customer Satisfaction Calling, where we call customers of our clients, and ask them how they found their most recent experience.

The role involves:

> Listening to our clients’ calls and answering questions based upon what you’ve heard.

> Calling our clients’ customers and asking them some questions.

> Building a rapport with the customers to enable the feedback to be obtained easily.

> Filling out the customers’ answers onto an excel worksheet or online assessment form.

> Other administration duties including speaking to mystery shoppers and quality controlling reports

Need to knows:

> Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (later/earlier starts/finishes are always considered).

> 28 days’ holiday including 8 bank holidays plus 5 days extra paid leave (pro rata for part time staff).

> Free parking on site available.

> Contractual sick pay included.

> 6-month probationary period.

> Subject to satisfactory DBS and ID/credit check

> Salary £10.75 per hour

> Expected hours between 10 and 15
