Become a Shopper
5 tips to get you started
How Does it work?
Have a read of the below tips on becoming a mystery shopping and then when you’re ready, simply click the “become a shopper” button!
01
Anyone can be a mystery shopper.
A Mystery Shopper is a person who poses as a real customer whilst assessing the customer service provided by a company or organisation. A mystery shopping assignment might be a quick visit to the bank to make a general enquiry, or it might be an overnight stay at a hotel. As well as visiting places, we also do telephone calls, emails, posts on social media sites, letters, website surveys and even home visits.
02
It's free to sign up and takes five minutes.
When you click ‘Become a Shopper’ you will be asked for your contact details and some information about yourself. You’ll then be asked to agree to our T&Cs and we’ll send you an email with your login information (check your Junk/Spam and add us to your address book please).
03
Instantly apply for assignments.
Once logged in, click on Available Assignments. The ones shown in the list will be those within your search area, or ones that can be done anywhere and everywhere (telephone calls for example). Click on the orange bar to show all of the assignments that we have available. Check out the deadline dates to see if you’re available, click on the ‘i’ to see the Summary and/or read the Shopper Brief. If you’d like to apply for the assignment, click ‘Apply’.
If your application is successful, it will appear in your Inbox and you should receive an email from us (again, check your junk/spam).
Any problems with the assignment, just contact one of the team members whose details are on the bottom of the Shopper Brief. Good luck!
05
Getting paid
Usually, we try to pay/reimburse our shoppers within 28 days of submitting a successfully completed assessment form. This gives us some time to check it all over, and then it gives our clients some time to raise any queries.
As a mystery shopper, you are classed as self-employed and are responsible for declaring your earnings.
