Here at Mystery Shoppers Ltd (MSL), we are on a mission to improve customer experiences all over the world. We help our clients to understand what they can do to create lots of happy customers by testing their services.

Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client’s locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of a good quality, before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.

We work in all industries, and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from the classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!

We are a medium sized, family run business and have been going for 30 years! Our HQ is in Holsworthy, Devon and we also work very closely with our partner office in Bulgaria.

We have three main audiences which we market to; the existing clients of MSL (businesses), prospective clients and the mystery shoppers themselves.

As a Marketing Assistant at MSL, you will play a key role in supporting our Marketing Department in content creation, marketing campaigns, and social media engagement. This diverse and exciting role will involve producing a wide range of marketing materials, monitoring the success of marketing initiatives, and keeping abreast of industry trends and developments.

The role involves:

> Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create engaging content, including articles, brochures, flyers, videos, infographics, and adverts.

> Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at attracting new clients and shoppers while retaining existing ones.

> Manage MSL’s social media presence by posting regularly, interacting with online communities, and monitoring competitor activities.

> Ensure the functionality and relevance of the company website by regularly updating content and monitoring site performance.

> Support the Marketing Department in researching advertising opportunities and implementing effective advertising strategies both online and offline.

> Monitor and analyse marketing metrics and KPIs, including website traffic, social media engagement, and shopper sign-up rates, to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Key skills required:

> Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences and platforms.

> Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.

> Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

> Creative thinker with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

> Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

    Need to knows:

    • Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (later/earlier starts/finishes are always considered).
    • Salary £24,180.00 pa.
    • 28 days’ holiday including 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
    • Free parking on site available.
    • Contractual sick pay included.
    • 6-month probationary period.
    • Subject to satisfactory DBS and ID/credit check.
